Gotta sayit!
The silly "non-feud" between non-Prez Palinozoic-Thinking candidate
Half-Guv Sarah Palin
and the twisted Pretzel of a Declared Candidate, 4 year Rep
Michelle Bachmann
reminds me of Carly Simon's "You're So Vain."
All these years later nobody's sure who she wrote it about, I've been thinking James Taylor for years.
Now I think she just might be a prophet, and was writing predictively about
Palin and Bachmann. :)
“IF WE TOOK AWAY THE MINIMUM WAGE—IF CONCEIVABLY IT WAS GONE—WE COULD POTENTIALLY VIRTUALLY WIPE OUT UNEMPLOYMENT COMPLETELY BECAUSE WE WOULD BE ABLE TO OFFER JOBS AT WHATEVER LEVEL!" MICHELLE MARIE AMBLE BACHMANN, MINNESOTA 6TH DISTRICT U.S. CONGRESSIONAL REPRESENTATIVE (OMG!) AND REPUBLICAN U.S. PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE (EVEN MORE OMG!!!) – HELLLLLLLLLLLLP!
Last week the issue of the week before the other declared pro-secessionist in the race, Rick Perry entered,
was whether Michelle is AS crazy or "flaky" ifya prefer, as her picture on the cover
of Newsweek appeared.
Her campaign was indignant, even though she posed for the Newsweek photo herself. OMG.
What a strange campaign the Bachman campaign is. Scary.
The Faux Newschannel made Bachmann famous. If it weren't for guys like Hannity drooling on the set
while interviewing she and Palin, Chris Wallace kowtowing to her in apologizing and what-not for
daring to discuss 'flaky' allegations in her presence, Beck and O'Reilley constantly
airing her pretty face and inane mutterings, nobody would know who this
4 year member of the House from an obscure Minnesota district is.
She shared the Faux stage with those on the payroll of Faux, former Prez contenders like
Huckabee, Palin and Gingrich.
Of course we all know that Faux Newschannel, the channel which created both Michelle Bachman
and the "Tea Party" is owned by Rupert Murdoch, and that his organization
is now under investigation for a wide range of felonies and crimes in Great Britain.
Here is Faux Newschannel owner and producer/director/creator of Michelle Bachman's public persona
Rupert Murdoch and son James Murdoch choking on answers to questions
before Parliament recently in London where they
routinely spied, recorded and listened in on conversations of everyone from 9/11 victims
to political powers they opposed, to the royal family!
These are the kind of people Bachmann associates with, along with Law Schools like
the failed Oral Roberts' Law School, her Law School adviser a secessionist and racist and
people like Beck, Hannity and O'Reilley.
On the burning political issue as to exactly how much of a flake she might be, U.S. “Representative" Bachman and Faux Newschannel “Anchor” Chris Wallace had the following interchange on August 14th, 2011: Mrs. Bachman appeared on all five Sunday talk shows, including “Fox News Sunday,” where the host Chris Wallace apologized again for asking if she was “a flake” on an earlier appearance:“CHRIS WALLACE: ‘I WANT TO SAY ON TELEVISION WHAT I SAID TO YOU PERSONALLY, I SINCERELY APOLOGIZE, I DIDN’T MEAN TO DO IT,’ HE SAID. MRS. BACHMAN RESPONDED, ‘ALL IS FORGIVEN, WE MOVE FORWARD, SO WE’RE GOOD TO GO.’” This following her victory in the Iowa Republican straw poll, what is that “Party” thinking???
A Premature Elvis Birthday Tribute
:)
THE ‘KING’ IS DEAD, MICHELLE: GOP PRESIDENTIAL HOPEFUL MICHELLE BACHMANN MISTAKENLY WISHED ELVIS PRESLEY A “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” TODAY DURING A CAMPAIGN EVENT (AUGUST 16TH, 2011) DURING A CAMPAIGN EVENT IN SOUTH CAROLINA. PRESLEY—“THE KING” TO MUSIC FANS EVERYWHERE, DIED 34 YEARS AGO ON THIS DATE. USA TODAY 8/16/2011After Michelle Bachmann's Political Career is Over, she certainly should be approached by the
Bachman Pretzel People for an endorsement of their fine
twisted products. Who better to endorse
twisted things? Huh?
Michelle Bachmann is running for President of the United States of America. More quotes from Michelle Bachman:2) “During the last 100 days we have seen an orgy. It would make any local smorgasbord embarrassed … The government spent its wad by April 26.”
3) “But we also know that the very founders that wrote those documents worked tirelessly until slavery was no more in the United States.”
4) ''Not all cultures are equal.''
5) ''[Pelosi] is committed to her global warming fanaticism to the point where she has said she has even said she is trying to save the planet. We all know that someone did that 2,000 years ago.''
6) ''A woman (Terri Schiavo) was healthy. There was brain damage, there was no question. But from a health point of view, she was not terminally ill.''
7) “Unelected bureaucracies will decide what we can and cant get in future health insurance policy. Thats why they're called death panels.”
8) ''This cannot pass. What we have to do today is make a covenant, to slit our wrists, be blood brothers on this thing. This will not pass. We will do whatever it takes to make sure this doesn't pass.''
9) ''And what a bizarre time we're in, when a judge will say to little children that you can't say the pledge of allegiance, but you must learn that homosexuality is normal and you should try it.''
10) ''Michael Steele! You be da man! You be da man!''?
A Republican Presidential contender? Really? First in the Republithief polls one day, second when secessionist candidate Rick Perry announces the next?
Ok, I'll give it toya, sometimes she looks pretty good (sometimes she looks scary, though, yes she does indeed).
She actually has more than 8 months on me,
she was born April 6th, 1956, and I was born December 19th, 1956.
I acknowledge that Michelle Bachmann is far better preserved than your
Unabashed Correspondent. She looks great in fact!
But that is NO reason to elect the brainless to the Presidency!
Ok, we’ll bother with a review of the Bachman record. It’s a twisted one, just like the famous pretzels which share her name. Her chosen law school was Oral Roberts University, so named because its founder was televangelist right-wing fanatic Oral Roberts who funded Oral Roberts U. ORU Founder Roberts is quoted as saying he “had a vision from a 900-foot-tall Jesus who told him to build City of Faith Medical and Research Center.” Oral Roberts and his University Administration, including his University President son, were widely accused and/or charged legally with personal extravagance and crimes of theft of church and not-for-profit funds. At the time of his death even the foreign press reported “Pastor” Robert’s life as follows in 2009 (in this case the London Guardian Obituary, 12/15/2009): according to the widely respected Guardian, Mr. Roberts: "even when times become hard, continued to wear his Italian silk suits, diamond rings and gold bracelets – airbrushed out by his staff on publicity pictures."
Wikipedia.org reports the following about ORU: “In October 2007 a lawsuit was filed in Tulsa County by three former professors who claimed to have been wrongfully terminated. They also alleged university president Richard Roberts misused university assets and illegally ordered the university to participate in Republican candidate Randi Miller's political campaign for Tulsa mayor.” Wikipedia goes on to report: “Lindsay Roberts, who is referred to in ORU publicity as the university's "first lady," is accused of spending tens of thousands of dollars of university funds on clothes, awarding nonacademic scholarships to the children of family friends and sending text messages, mostly sent between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m., on university-issued cell phones to people described in the lawsuit as "underage males." The hand-picked President of ORU, Michelle Bachman’s chosen Law School and Alma Mater, was Oral Robert’s own son, and this is his legacy.
Michelle attended the law school during it’s 7 year existence and graduated around the time of it’s just demise, when the school had to be transferred to a Virginia school (now a right wing fanatic religionist Pat Robertson product), because of the scandals and mismanagement going on while she was a student there, and used her 'judgement' to pick this out of all the law schools in the nation as her choice of schools to attend. The Boston Globe reported on Michelle Bachman’s Law School Alma Mater’s death knell the year of her graduation thusly, saying that ORU: "shut down its ailing law school and sent its library to Pat Robertson's Bible-based college in Virginia", which subsequently founded the Regent University School of Law.”
Presidential Candidate Bachman picked this ridiculous failed school, and then picked John Eidsmoe as her favorite professor and mentor. She worked for him and participated in research on one of his books, endorsing his views saying of him: "one of the professors who had a great influence on me", "a wonderful man", and "absolutely brilliant." She worked for him while a law student at Oral Roberts as a research assistant on Christianity and the Constitution. In 2011, he said he felt Bachman's views were "in agreement with those taught at ORU and expressed in his book that she worked on.” This from Rolling Stone magazine. Among other radical extremist Secessionist views, Wikipedia reports: “Eidsmoe has stirred some controversy in his outside lecturing. In 2005, he spoke to the national convention of the Council of Conservative Citizens and in 2010 he addressed an event commemorating Alabama's Secession Day where he told an interviewer that it was Alabama's “constitutional right to secede,” and that “Jefferson Davis and John C. Calhoun understood the Constitution better than did Abraham Lincoln and Daniel Webster.” In April, 2010, he was disinvited from a Tea Party rally in Wausau, Wisconsin, because of these statements and appearances.” This fool is Bachman’s legal mentor and the kind of dude she looks up to! OMG! The GOP ain’t at all GRAND in any sense anymore. It is a threat to the Union. Just look at Secessionist Perry and Secessionist religionist Bachman, Numbers one and two in the Republithief polls today. Eidsmoe was even “disinvited from a Tea Party Rally!” Forget that Republican Party!!! It’s gone nuts! Or Pretzels, ifya prefer.
Kinda scary this one, I'd say.
I hate to say it, and I am in no way a chauvinist, I am a feminist. Michelle Bachmann is attractive. So is Sarah Palin. Neither would have entered the national scene were they not, because they are not very bright, nor anywhere near the mainstream of the American political dialogue. Palin won a beauty contest. I’m a hetero feminist guy, and Bachman looks good to me in some pictures. Nice hair, sort of pretty, in good shape. If she had the looks of my own great late governor Ella T. Grasso of Connecticut, Newt Gingrich, or even Nancy Pelosi she would not even be an asterisk in the polls, I do believe. I also believe that is the extent to which McCain ‘vetted’ Palin as VP choice in 2008, having seen her credentials as a half-term governor and mayor of a town of 5,000. Ridiculous. This is not to say that attractive is not any criterion at all for any elected office. I suppose people would say bellwether—“what do the polls say today and I’ll take a stand”—candidate Mitt Romney is a Ken Doll. I happen to find Dem National Chair and U.S. Rep from Florida Deb Wasserman-Schultz attractive. Barack Obama appears to me to be no slouch in the looks area. But in the cases of Bachman and Palin it appears to be a central reason for their fame and political fortune. Same goes for Reagan and Romney. Those two also have/had little in the way of brains as I can see, but great hair and impeccable wardrobes. Shame, shame Republicans.
Bachman’s tenure in the U.S. House and her qualifications include only four years in the House. That’s it. And her bad choices of schools, words, reactionary views, misstatements, missteps and goofs galore. That’s it. Her husband is clearly whacked, and she chose him as well. What choices would she make as President? OMG. One Minnesotan stepped out of the race this week, Tim Pawlenty, a former Governor. Not only should Michelle Bachmann recognize her foolishness and the absurdity of her ‘campaign,’ and her inadequacy and incompetency for the office, she should not run for re-election to her U.S. House seat given her selfishness and failure to spend adequate time or resources on her own district which has elected her to the U.S. HOUSE and she’s gone about the business of getting famous and ignoring her district, and if she runs for re-election the voters of the 6th Congressional District in Minnesota should turn her away from the District she’s been ignoring for the past 4 and a half years.
We continue to unreservedly endorse the re-election of our awesome incumbent President Barack Obama. The hit parade of Obama accomplishments in just 30 months in office:
1) Ending the reign of terror that was Osama Bin Laden.
3) Negotiating and passing through the U.S. Senate the START treaty with Russia.
4) Passage of the highly successful $700 billion TARP bill.
5) Passage of the first-step Health Care Reform Act of 2010.
6) Removing 100,000 of our bravest and best from harm's way in Iraq and an end to the Cheney Administration-sponsored US agression by December of this year.
7) Getting a $20 billion down payment from BP before the spill was even over.
8) Intimidating Tony "Wayward" Hayward into resigning as the immoral head of BP, taking a demotion and hiding out in Putin's Russia to avert prosecution by Attorney General Eric Holder.
9) Naming 2 women in a row to the U.S. Supreme court with brains.
10) Having a brain himself as President, post-George Dubya Bush.
11) Getting a debt ceiling bill passed despite the efforts of the reactionary ‘worst-ever’ U.S. Congress and the most incompetent U.S. House Speaker Tanman Boehner to stymie his every effort.
AND THE WINNING LINK TO DEFEAT THE LIKES OF PRETZEL CANDIDATE BACHMANN, WHICH-WAY-DO-I-TURN CANDIDATE ROMNEY, OR YET-ANOTHER-STUPID-TEXAS-GOVERNOR LIKE DUBYA BUSH EXCEPT PRO-SECESSION AND RENEWED CIVIL WAR ADVOCATE RICK PERRY AND TO RE-ELECT A GREAT GUY WITH REAL FAMILY VALUES IS:
