I WAS A LITTLE UNDER THE WEATHER YESTERDAY...BUT HERE'S WHAT KAT AND I WANTED TO SAY...PLEASE FORGIVE OUR BELATED-NESS...WHEN I WAS A GIRL, I GREW UP SURROUNDED BY MAPLE TREES.

I remember loving the way I could make the seeds stick to my nose in the spring, the the fiery bright red brilliance of the leaves in the fall...

they really were my favorite leaves of all...

now I know why...
